Hello, I'm Pat Small, and welcome to my website.
I am a professional fishing guide, and have spent the past 43 years fishing Lake Whitney. If you want to catch a big Striper on Lake Whitney then you have found the right person with the knowledge and experience to help you realize your goal. I know where the fish are and I know how to catch'em! Come and enjoy a great outdoor adventure that's lots of fun for the entire family.

Here are some things you need to know:

1.  You will need a fishing license. You can get it online from Texas Parks and Wildlife at:

 www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/general/information/

Or, you can get a license from a local agent. The above website has a list of agents nearest you.

2.  All fishing tackle and bait will be furnished. At the end of the trip, your fish will be cleaned and  bagged for you. Bring an ice chest with Ice to carry home your filets.

You may also want to bring along drinks and snacks.

For your comfort and safety, I own and run a 21 foot Champion, Bay Champ boat with a 225 Mercury Optimax  Pro XS engine. Champion's rough water performance is legendary with one of the best handling, smoothest riding hulls built.

Now that you have found me, lets go catch some fish

4/26/2017 FISHING REPORT:

The top water bite is going great. I expect during the next three weeks or so we will see plenty more excellent top water action...You don't want miss this!
Catching Stripers on live bait just does not get any better than it is right now. The Stripers are in post spawn and congregated in very large schools and hungry.
We continue fishing after we have a limit of Stripers if you want. We will catch & release or fish for Largemouth Bass. Fishing trips are four hours.
