Thank you to the T.P.W. Department for their stocking program of releasing Hybrid Stripers into Lake Pat Cleburne over the last three years. Due to the large flow of water from all of the rain this year many are going over the spillway at Lake Pat Cleburne. We are now catching a few hard fighting Hybrids in Lake Whitney nearly every day. They are ranging from 17 to 19 inches this summer. By the end of this coming winter with the huge population of baitfish available, they should gain quickly.

The spring spawn of 2019 was excellent for shad, white bass, and Largemouth bass. the numbers of juveniles we are catching in our nets while getting bait are amazing.

The Striper stocking for 2019 was very successful also. We are seeing huge numbers of juvenile Stripers four to six inches long across the entire lake. That's great news for the continued success or our fishery.

Or, you can get a license from a local agent. The above website has a list of agents nearest you.

2.  All fishing tackle and bait will be furnished. At the end of the trip, your fish will be cleaned and bagged for you. Bring an ice chest with Ice to carry home your filets.

You may also want to bring along drinks and snacks.
