 Some of the greatest action of the year happens in April! Conditions lined up perfect again for another great day of smack-en the Stripes on topwater lures. We had multiple double hookups. Ross Springer from Illinois and Jeff Chakouian from Waco. Thanks, guys!!

The catchin part of fishing started slow today but we ended up with a limit of legal size Stripes and a few we released that need to grow up.... With Rick & Will Constable and Richard Laney. Thanks guys!!

 Jeff Burns and family from Dallas and Jersey caught a bunch of Stripes today. We released way more than we kept. Thanks, guys! Thanks to Randy Routh for helping these guys have a great time today.

Topwater Stripers! What a great time! David and Tyler Slaughter from Hutto. Happy birthday, Tyler. 

 Hal Cox from West brought his grandson Landen Espinoza fishing. Landen reeled them in as grandpa helped hold the pole for him. What fun! Larry & Phyliss Mills "Snowbirds from Wyoming" Came to catch some Texas fish It was a success! thanks, guys!

Jim and Kathy Davis caught a couple hard fighting Lake Whitney Stripes. Great fun with some fun folks. The largest was 31 inches. WTG guys!

 Mike Stephenson, Reggie Silva, Jeff Carleson, Gary Conzer and Tony Salmech had a great day on the lake catchin some fat bellied Stripers. Thanks Guys! Reggie caught the big-un it was 33 inches long.

 Chris Reeves and Eric Orrill came up from Galveston to catch some lake Whitney Stripers. The conditions lined up perfect for some fantastic topwater action. Thanks, Guys!


 FINALLY! The topwater bite was red hot today. We smacked-em good on chuggers and Bombers. With Bill Liner, Tim Harris and Tommy Wright from Dallas. What a great time! The topwater bite has been a lot like the weather this year. Changes every day!

My good friends Dick Grimes, Arnie Hibbler and Greg Johnson of Whitney brought their friend from Wisconsin Janice Griffith to catch some Texas fish. It was a success! Janice shows her largest Cat and Striper of the day. WTG Janice.


 What a way to end April. It was a great topwater bite this morning with Brent & Jason Wilson and Joel Braddock. Nothing real big but they sure do make up for it with enthusiasm. We released way more Strips than we caught and a whole mess of Whites also. THANKS GUYS! What a blast.
