Lake Whitney Striper Fishing-Facebook

7/30
The Stripers are feeding on live bait early in the mornings and in the evenings. They are ranging in size from 18 to 35 inches. Morning trips start at 6:15 AM and evening trips start at 4:45 PM.

Steve and Aaron Williams Caught some nice Stripers this evening to 32 inches. The Striper in the center of the photo is a Hybrid Striper that most likely came through a few dams during the recent flooding to arrive here. July the 29th.

Hello, I'm Pat Small, and welcome to my website.

I am a professional fishing guide, and have spent the past 41 years fishing Lake Whitney. If you want to catch a big Striper on Lake Whitney then you have found the right person with the knowledge and experience to help you realize your goal. I know where the fish are and I know how to catch'em! Come and enjoy a great outdoor adventure that's lots of fun for the entire family.

Here are some things you need to know:

1.  You will need a fishing license. You can get it online from Texas Parks and Wildlife at:

 www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/general/information/

Or, you can get a license from a local agent. The above website has a list of agents nearest you.

2.  All fishing tackle and bait will be furnished. At the end of the trip, your fish will be cleaned and     bagged for you. You will also want to bring along drinks and snacks, a camera, and maybe sunscreen.

For your comfort and safety, I own and run a 21 foot Champion, Bay Champ boat with a 225                       Mercury Optimax engine. Champion's rough water performance is legendary with one of the best
        handling, smoothest riding hulls built.

Now that you have found me, lets go catch some fish
